Any love on here for the Universal Monsters and their Cafe at Universal?

I love the old classic Universal Monsters, have ever since I was a kid. I only ate at the cafe ones long ago, but I love the design and decorations. Of course, this might have changed since I haven't eaten there in years.

I'd like to get my picture with those guys if they ever are around for a photo op.

Ya I love eating there too and it sounds pretty much the same from when you were there years ago. The themeing is so great and its fun to just sit back and watch the old clips.

I liked the Monster Cafe too. I liked all the movie monster theming.

Although a few years ago, they stopped showing movie monster clips and started showing Universal movie and theme park advertisements. Anyone know if they still do it like that or did they bring the monster footage back?

LOL Ol' Dracula is a real charmer with the ladies. But don't forget poor Frankenstein, all he wants is to be loved, like a giant green puppy dog!

It's typical theme park grub. No good beers. It has AC, so good in the summer.

Just had lunch there yesterday. Their pizza is different from the great stuff at Louie's & Cafe 4 but it was still alright.

Frankenstein has a bride! If anyone wants to be loved, it's Drac! He DOES go after Frankie's Bride in the show...

Frankenstein does have a bride, true, but Drac has 3 living in that castle of his. He is quite the ladies man.

Female vampire for Halloween? VERY cool. Man, I love a vampires, a good vampire story is a great story.

Have you read Dracula?

Hey, know who gets no love? Wolfman, or the Mummy or Gillman, poor guys.

If you really enjoy these characters I recommend a comic book mini-series currently out called Screamland. It deals with these classic characters as real actors in modern times. All but Dracula have had pretty much their careers come to a halt, and now they are getting back together for a new movie coming out.

It's a great book, funny, cool art, and written by a guy who obviously loves the characters. There are 4 issues out now I believe. Any local comic shop should have them. I see you are from Orlando, so I would try Coliseum of Comics, which is a great comic shop.
