Universal Great Movie Ride?

Did anyone ever wonder why Universal never did their own version of the great movie ride in Orlando. King Kong, Jaws, ET, Back To the Future, The Classic Universal Monsters, Hitchock, and more could all be included. It would be epic, and bring back many of the attractions that have since left us.

Just a thought.

Probably because all those movies have/had their own attractions. It could be interesting, but largely unnecessary. They also don't want to be seen as copying Disney.

I would agree. I do not think that type of attraction would be great at US - I go there for thrill rides not a great movie ride. The attraction at HS is perfection and just needs to be updated

I think a Great Movie Ride update is the most needed attraction at DHS. Star Wars, Updated Indy, Frozen, Tangled, Pirates, Pixar, Mary Poppins, Disney Princesses and Villains. You could have one hell of a ride!

I am not sure it needs that much updating - typically when disney goes in and reimagines something it comes out worse (i.e. spaceship earth, test track).

I've actually wondered this myself.

I'd be down for it personally. Universal is great at thrills which I love, but I enjoy things that slow down a bit. Especially if it involves movies!

Just my thoughts.

Many of the original Universal Studios Florida attractions were/are components of the Tram Tour at Universal Studios Hollywood and the very early plan was to replicate them as part of the tram experience. They were made into their own attractions when Disney's plans for a similar tram ride were learned.
