Get over yourself mate. You can't expect anyone on this forum to know your life story. I figured that "what do you smoke?" was a sarcastic phrase in America when someone made a wild accusation, like it is here in Australia. I must have misjudged that, but don't expect an apology from me. You're just being over sensitive and starting problems for no reason.

It is more rude than sarcastic. And I'm not starting problems. Okay...so why do you say that (about my reply)?

I promise you it was not intended to be rude, the way you decided to interpret it has noting to do with me.

Quahog couldn't exist, ever. Family Guy is a show for mature audiences and is constantly getting into controversy. That would not translate well into a family theme park. There also isn't much to work with. In the Simpsons case, Springfield is one of the main features of the show. It focuses on the people and environments you find in the town. Family Guy is more focused on the Griffins, the side characters are occasionally focused on (Seamus, Greased up deaf guy, Mort) but they don't hold enough backstory to create an entire land.

That last point could be argued but still, it could never make it into a family theme park.

Okay, I concur, thank you!

See this is what I'm talking about! You can make some very smart comments sometimes without thinking of how it affects its intended target. What if I had a family member who was in jail or dead from a smoking related crime? What if I had previously been bullied for being a sensitive person? When I post something on this forum, I hope to receive responses that either praise my idea or give me constructive criticism to improve my attempt at art. I would hope that my first reply isn't always "Jdm, what are you smoking?" Please be considerate and kind...

 Dear Lord what has this world come to!? A harmless joke turns into a rant about smoking! Merica these days...

At Studios, Shrek, T2 and Twister should be replaced. I'd also like to see new shows replace FFL and Animal Actors, which are both lousy.

Unfortunately, it sounds like E.T. is also on it's way out, but I'm gonna pretend that's not true.

Fast and Furious would make for an interesting attraction, but to do it right it would require a decent chunk of land, which neither park has at the moment.

Shrek should be replaced with another family friendly attraction.

T2 I'd like to see replaced with a similar style action themed 3-D film. Now, technically Fast and Furious could work here, but I'd rather that be a ride. A Riddick themed film would be interesting...

Twister is an interesting one... There's not a lot of room to work with, so a similar special effects themed attraction seems to make the most sense. Then you have to consider Disaster, the other special effects themed attraction in the park.
My suggestion is a special effects show that goes behind the scenes and showcases how the effects we see movies are created.

I'd enclose the Fear Factor theater and use it for one of two things: a Harry Potter themed Defense Against the Dark Arts Class or a Broadway style musical.

Animal Actors I would replace with a Dreamworks themed stage show.

Speaking of Dreamworks, Kids Zone will be re-themed for Dreamworks, with the exception of E.T.

Woody Woodpecker would be rethemed to How to Train Your Dragon, Fivel's Playground would be rethemed to The Croods, Curious George would be demolished and replaced with Madagascar: A Crate Adventure from Singapore, a new Shrek dark ride and themed eatery would be built on the former Hard Rock Cafe plot and Barney would be replaced with an interactive Kung-Fu Panda show.

I'll post my IoA ideas in a sec.

I like these ideas.

The façade of the Wizarding World expansion will be themed around London, so if you were going to put a musical where Fear Factor is, you could expand the London theme and have Mary Poppins, Oliver or something.

Or alternatively they could do what they did in Universal Japan and have a Wicked musical (and Uni are rumoured to be making a Wicked film soon so that would go well), and the whole area could become a mini 'Land of Oz'.

Whilst I think DreamWorks would work well as a replacement for Woody Woodpecker Land (or whatever it's called), I think you have to be careful because DreamWorks films don't seem to be remembered long. Even Shrek, their biggest franchise, is beginning to be forgotten even though it had a spin-off. They're not very good at keeping people interested in their characters.

And I hope E.T. isn't on its way out, I always thought it would stay there forever. Universal wouldn't be the same without it. :(

IoA is in a difficult position because there isn't a whole lot you can do to expand it. The two areas to work with are replacing Marvel and replacing Lost Continent.

My first suggestion for replacing Marvel was a Sci-Fi land so you can replace Spider-Man with Transformers. Since that ain't happening I'd suggest DC. Spider-Man would be replaced by a Batman Archam Asylam ride, Hulk would be replaced by Superman, Storm Force is replaced by The Flash and Dr. Doom is replaced by The Joker.

Lost Continent is fairly small now that Harry Potter took over most of the land, however it does have two attractions that are a decent size. My suggestion? Middle Earth. Yeah, it's next to Harry Potter, but LOTR/The Hobbit is a different beast. I'd convert Posiedon into a Mines of Morria roller coaster and the Sinbad theater into Hobbiton, which is a walk through attraction with themed resturants and shops. I'd also include the Prancing Pony themed eatery.

For Middle Earth, I would convert the area near Mythos into The Shire, which is really just an area you can walk around, and then where the Mystic Fountain is, that would become Bree, with a Prancing Pony and a few quaint little shops. Then, the building encompassing Posideon's Fury would be expanded and joined up with the Eighth Voyage of Sinbad building, to make one huge building with would house 'Lord of the Rings: The Journey', which can be accessed from Bree.
Lord of the Rings: The Journey is a dark ride, similar to Soarin' at Epcot, but on a much bigger scale. The ride combines screens with real sets, and the seats are like Soarin', but they move around a track, and are suspended from the ceiling (I hope I'm making sense!).
The ride begins in Bree, where you are picked up by an eagle. After gliding over The Shire, Rivendell and Minas Tirith (via the screens), the ride takes a dramatic turn when the eagles take you over Mordor (which would be a giant real-life set), and the Eye of Sauron tries to destroy you. The room would be heated, to add to the experience, and lava would blast up to your dangling feet. But then you escape and win, and that is the end of the ride.
I think that would be amazing for a ride. The only issue is it might be too similar and too near to Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, but I'm sure people would still flock to ride it.

Of course the other option is to convert Toon Lagoon into Middle Earth. Popeye and Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges could become 'The Shire Barrel Boats', and then the area around Me Ship the Olive could become The Shire. Then the whole area where the shops are could become Bree, and Comic Strip Cafe could become the Prancing Pony. Then Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls could see a massive overhaul and become a huge replica of Minas Tirith, and could encompass the 'Lord of the Rings: The Journey' ride I described in the previous paragraph.

What do you think? I realise both options, particularly the latter, are very ambitious, but they are certainly not impossible. I think a LOTR land would attract a lot more visitors than you might think. :D

honestly not sure if you're joking or not...
We wlready had this conversation and I agreed that it would seem inappropriate, however I feel this concept wouldn't. Though, I even don't think it's a good idea because it isn't very strong and is left without a confident basis.

Anyways, here's an overview I did of a possible World Expo and "FoxCartoonLand":
The thing I like is that there is fast and furious. I don't have the slightest clue why you would take out Simpsons and the BRAND NEW restaurants for something that parents will complain about being not age appropriate (Family Guy). Alien Encounter, anyone...

I Honestly hate that people think ALIEN ENCOUNTER is too inappropriate. What is so bad about it!? So your kids get a little scared....SO WHAT! Its fun and Disney deserves a few rides like those for people who like them (aka. ME!) Dinosaur and TOT are the last of there kind. Haunted mansion would count....but its really not scary its more funny!

He actually didn't touch The Simpsons. You see that building next to the Stewie ride, that's The Simpsons Ride. If you look closely under it says the Kwik E Mart. From that point on all the way down out of the picture is Springfield.

I have an idea for a new restaurant for the New York area of e park. It would replace Louie's, and it would be themed to Monks Cafe from the show Seinfeld. The exterior would be this...

And this would play every time the phone "rings" in the diner!
