I can’t delve into details, but just imagine if instead of merely having a moving object/animatronic, say it’s projection mapped on top of, rendered in real-time. To say it’s spectacular in person is an understatement, which is just one of the reasons why I’m honestly expecting the Monsters Ride to be among the best attractions in the world, if not taking that title outright.

The Potter ride should be equally wild too, and will also feature that tech, but not quite as pronounced. The knock your socks off feature is instead of just boarding a ride vehicle and departing the load platform, the room around your vehicle physically moves with it, with the vehicle you’re in only leaving it after a bit.

Get excited. The park’s the real deal. I’ve said nothing. ;)
To say I’m thrilled for this park is an understatement, sounds absolutely incredible!

Disagree. Disney has that market cornered. Being different is working and will work even better once EU opens.

The best way to beat Disney is to beat them at their own game. Universal has become too coaster and screencentric. People like doing different types of rides like dark rides, boat rides, omnimovers and thrill coasters. Everyone doesn't want to just do thrill rides that make you want to puke. Plus if you do family rides, you can lure families in. You're not going to lure families and little kids in with scary rollercoasters.

I think that Disney should start doing more Disney boat and dark rides.

That's true, but at least they've been doing different things. Trackless rides, family coasters, rollercoasters, spinning rides and motion simulators.

Epic looks like the same stuff and off the shelf rides.

I'm looking forward to EU but time will tell how good the rides are. I've been disappointed with a few of Universals latest offerings (mariokart is very meh at best imo, same with gringotts. And FnF is one of the worst rides ever made) Both MK and Gringotts are in beautiful lands but the rides are not great. Imo of course. So hopefully the monsters and next hp rides are better.
