I think the high prices are to keep capacity down for the first year or so. I guarantee the prices will stabilize around $150~ in the long run.

I disagree. It makes the 3 park tickets look better and IMO they are hoping more will opt for that. The goal with Epic is make Universal a 4-5 day visit.

It's probably due to many wanting single day tickets over the multiple day ones.

June isn’t sold out, the website’s just panicking. We would’ve seen a trickle of days gradually sell out if June were completely booked.
@lazyboy97o has been saying $6B, and doing so well after COVID was "over."
I'd trust that number from him unless he revises it.

I said $6+ and the end of big projects like this are really good at sucking up resources. Finally total may be quite eye watering.

I’m guessing $8-9. I don’t see this park ending up cheaper than Beijing.

It is the world’s most expensive theme park. It also has a lot less capacity than Universal Studios Beijing which is why people shouldn’t get their hopes to high about the next park. They realize they’ve got some cost control issues.

Tickets are not sold out, the website is, per usual, messed up.
The project is expensive, but remember these numbers being thrown out are vague and can include a lot of things (resort hotels, transportation system enhancements, etc.)
It's not just a theme park, it's an entire new bus fleet with maintenance & charging locations, infrastructure, Team Member Back of House projects, warehouses, new Universal Creative headquarters, etc.

Just a reminder, we also do not know how many tickets they are selling each day, how many are in the single ticket pool, etc. A sell out day could mean they are being conservative, and may add more to any bucket.

They are severely limiting this park's capacity the first few weeks.
I'm fine with that, but I have a big issue with the lack of information from them in advance. Had a friend who ended up booking a hotel and is now opting to cancel or visit WDW instead.
It's odd they waited this long.

I don't disagree. They should have released more info in advance. The other side IMO is many not willing to change their mindset of Universal being an add on to a Disney vacation.

One man’s review, so I wouldn’t put too much into it. Like anything else there is good and bad. In no way is this the Disney killer they were hoping for.
