An exception, how many others? 1 -2?
The MCU, DCEU, and X-Men/Deadpool films are technically all series, so they'd count. I'd assume Harry Potter/Fantastic Beasts as well, although I'm not familiar with the latter. Most of the other long-running series are smaller films that studios don't usually bank on. Godzilla, the horror slashers, etc.

F&F is a spent franchise. Any others have 9 in the series? Not what makes money today but movie sales are not what builds theme parks. This is budgeted and will move forward no matter how much you troll

Spent franchise? F&F 8 (the one before this) made over 1.2 billion dollars worldwide ! The one before that is one of the highest grossing box movies of all time. Granted the movies are critically poor, but they are huge for Universal.

This all has a knock on effect for Comcast investing - especially in theme parks.

You make a lot of presumptions about what Comcast will or must do without actual knowledge of their inner workings, don't you?

I go by the simply theory that if a companies income is on the decrease, they are unlikely to be making huge spending commitments. Disney only started the mass spending on theme parks, largely in part to their movie division doing massive business - before that Disney spending on parks was low.

From posts elsewhere on the Interwebs, it appears they're installing themed food booths, including a Beetlejuice one near Animal Actors.

The interactive Chucky also appears to be making a return.
