Not that this isn’t disappointing but what’s to be worried about? They will get the ride open sooner or later. You can be sure of that.Anyone else getting more than a little worried about this ride yet. Is it time to go full board panic mode??? I watched a content creator yesterday who said just go in assuming you WON’T get on Battle of the Ministry and be pleasantly surprised if you do. How sad

Im glad I went Sunday and did basically everything except DK. In some cases we rode rides 2x. These past few days have been rough. Even MoM was pretty much perfect for me from what I could tell but am aware their sensors are pretty crazy.
With the stormy weather coming in I'm curious to see how this park goes during the summer months.

Is DK really a coaster? Feels more like an unholy cross-breed of a dark ride and a coaster.
So it shows that people do not recall that when Universal Studios Florida first opened, people waited all day for Kongfrontation that did not work much of the day and E.T. was the smoothest success of the rides they had.
Jaws was already a situation where they realized it was likely going to have to be rebuilt.
Epic has issues, but not at the level most major theme parks opening have.
By grand opening it will have been the most ironed out and stress tested theme park of all of the major ones ever opened.

Your experience sounds like mine. Had a great time and rode multiple rides twice. Only thing I didn't do was the carousel and flat ride in HTTYD.

Yes. When Universal first purchased the land in the late 90s it was directly from Lockheed.

Yup. The road that enters the site from the northeast and heads south along the west side of the water treatment plant down through the center of the site was originally called Ordinance Rd. Most everything was discovered and cleared out during the site prep phase, but I do recall a couple of incidents of 'something' being found below the surface during construction that required safe removal.

Thanks, was looking for articles like this but everything was bringing up recent news about Epic.
Does anyone know when the land stopped being used for missile testing by Lockheed? I'd imagine by whenever International Drive started getting built up.

I can't speak for others, but Not for us. We get up when we wake up, go get a bit of breakfast and coffee, and then head out to the boat to start the day at one of the parks. We have never encountered lots of crowds doing it this way. Maybe if you go at rope drop there are less crowds? I don't know, but this works for us to take our time and do what we want.
The grammar ain't so hot either.
I never knew that "Expectant Mothers" was a condition. "Oh, you're due in six months?! Why, I didn't know you had Expectant Mothers condition!!"
Not to mention the unnecessary capitalization of "Guests."
At least "restraints" was spelled correctly. And props to the Oxford comma.
