I really like the concept of these ads - the idea of the portals randomly appearing places, and the "You gotta see this!" tagline. The green screen CGI perhaps oversells it a little, but I get it, the real stuff's not ready to show yet.

The screen stuff is just more visually engaging for a tv spot that lasts 2-3 secs, unfortunately. Once the animatronics are in their final show scene/set, I'd imagine they'd used them more.

Neither does the Internet. Lasseter is not listed under Wild Robot on either Wikipedia or IMDB.
And neither IMDB nor Wikipedia list Wild Robot as something he worked on.
Lasseter went to Skydance. The Wild Robot is Illumination.

I'm excited that it seems many of the restaurants will have themed food - I'm always disappointed at how few theme parks actually theme the food: When I'm travelling I always prefer to eat something unique that I can't get at home. Looks great, Universal has been trying to fix its QSR quality over the past few years and this all looks great/unique.
The best part is that MeteorPub in the hub will be the "designated" safe option with burgers and chicken tenders, so it should avoid having to replace options in the land themselves with standard theme park fare.

Genuinely a groundbreaking meet and greet. I can't think of many characters Disney could use this wi- oh right, Simba, Dumbo, Bambi, etc...
Berk stays winning I guess. I need this park to open soon as humanly possible so I can live thru all the photos and videos of Berk.
