iirc there's a photo right now flying around from the announcement that any cell phone usage during previews will be seen as leaking and will result in immediate removal from the park and reprimanding.
Having worked on very high profile projects in my career under an NA, I'll argue that they'll do more than a reprimand.

They won't sue them, but they better brush up their resumes.

Can’t help but think that there’s at least one person who wants out and doesn’t care. There are worse things in life than being fired from your $15/hr (is that the rate these days?) job at a theme park.

$17-18/hr

And while you're right in the short term, getting terminated and no rehire from the 33rd largest company in the Fortune 500 may lead to unexpected consequences later on in life.

It would be sad/ironic if EU had the issue that SWL had at DL when it opened, namely, the hype that it would be so mobbed that the mobs stay away.
IMO its playing a part. It's also a combination of summer now being slow in Orlando and Disney prices what they are. Many won't go to Orlando just for Universal and if they are finding Disney too expensive they just won't go

Sure, but attendance is falling at all Orlando parks. Good reason to believe the growth is rooted in Orlando’s further growth + cruises
I personally hope EPIC has great opening days and weeks as it will serve to force Disney to do better.

In my opinion, a poor start for EPIC will only serve to make Disney pull back, slow down, cut costs, something Disney would really prefer to do.
Yeah this is ultimately what I’m afraid of. If Epic is a disappointment it likely means the suits at Disney know what they’re talking about.

That's the thing, a brand new state of the art theme park is opening in 2 months. Orlando should be packed with people for it but they are staying away.

Packed with people two months out?

Maybe two weeks out when the park will likely be in some soft opening/preview phases.
I'm not saying right now with previews. I'm talking about when it opens in May.

Quite a few ≠ enough to fill a park.

Take a peek at my other response up above, it touches on some of the economic and societal issues at play.
I can buy the non US guest not coming. I can't quite get there with the US visitors. Yes the economy isn't great right now and an Orlando vacation is expensive. Yet when I was planning my summer parks vacations at Dollywood and Cedar Point, their resorts have been the highest rates I've seen since COVID. People don't have an issue paying $400 a night for a 3-4 nights there but won't travel to Orlando for Epic.

Those are literally bullet points from industry meetings that I've sat in as recently as February.
