You're probably right. When/If this project comes back to life in the future it will inevitably look different than the vague picture we got for this version of it.

The park hasn’t been canceled. As of now the construction will just look more like a typical design then build process than the usual fast track process (where construction overlaps design employed) in themed entertainment.

Honestly, I'm not overly excited about any of the lands. I don't connect with any of those IPs. However, I'm interested in the rumored suspended flight ride in the How to Train Your Dragon land!

I agree the Dragons land looks great!

I don't believe that there is a suspended flight sim in the Dragons land. That was just speculation based on some patents that Universal applied for. I think the headliner attraction for the land will be a high tech live action/puppet show similar to the arena show touring around the world.

Alicia said it best in her article. The dragon flying simulator isn't happening. It's a big sit down restaurant. The big headliner is the show and a Hagrid's style coaster with lots of AA's.

I think the plans are set, you may see some tweaks but the overall will be what we know now.

That makes the most sense especially since they are reportedly already building stuff in house like ride vehicles, props and AA's apparently. The thing I could see get cut is the dueling coaster in the hub or some of the rides or attractions in the hub. The lands seem pretty much all set.

Yeah it truly does! How to Train your Dragon could honestly be the best land at the park besides Classic Monsters.
