Well this won't affect me, as at the moment i'm not going again till 2012 (), but does anyone know what has caused the delay?

I'm gonna go with the fact that the lift hill's still not done, and at this point, they won't have enough time to finish it AND calibrate all the technical stuff that needs to be done (not to mention to get all the show ready clearance a ride needs before it can be opened to guests) in order to make the original Spring opening date. So rather than rush it to get it open by then and have 5 million problems during the summer (Problems = Downtimes = hundreds of really angry guests) they're going to do what they can to try to fine tune it as perfectly as possible so as not to have as many downtimes as are usually associated with new rides. Unfortunately, though, as with any ride system, they're never perfect, and there are still going to be problems. :)
