what things do you do to make a trip to wdw unique? for instance when i go with my husband we like to picnic on the beach at either the poly or gf and watch the fireworks. when we do an all girl trip (sisters, daughters) we like to do a mega late night dip in the pool after the close of summer emh before calling it a night. our last ride on pirates we always sing (not to loud to bug other guests i promise lol). so what do you do to make your trip unique?

We always stop at the confectionary and get me a Rice Krispie Mickey Head on a stick for the drive back to the In-Laws house (they live in Orlando.) It helps me stay awake. :)

We always have a different quest for each visit. 1 trip we will try and get as many autographs as possible. Another we go all out to fill our pressed coin book. Next time we are going to get as many hidden Mickey pics as we can find. Just a little thing to remember each trip.

Love this.

I am going to start a new tradition since there is a new addition to my family, and my first. At least I have some time to think of one, our trip is in March.

One night, we eat dessert....for dinner :)

:ROFLOL:one year my sister and i took our daughters (early teenagers at the time) and we decided to do that for our whole 5 day trip...by lunch on day 3 we were all sooooo dying for a salad and veggies we actually ate more like we were on a diet the rest of the trip but had a BLAST doing it. Love it!

My family likes to try and seek out a restaurant that we have not yet tried and make sure to add it to our ADR list.

In fact, making out my trip spreadsheet today I realized that only 1 ADR that we have right now is for a place we've been before (and my daughter has never been to CRT, so that will make it unique as well). Other than that, they are all new experiences for us this time. My wife and I LOVE trying new restaurants, so this makes our trip a little unique each time.

we too have a family tradition we call "eating outside the box" basically anytime we're away from home we do not eat anywhere we could if we were at home. no food chains etc... so i agree wdw is a great place to do just that. plus the food is always pretty at disney and who can pass up food that tastes good and is good to look at?

One that's quickly becoming tradition for our pack.....A game of checkers on Main Street, (or for that matter Fort Langhorn on Tom Sawyer's Island)!

We also used to take pictures of the kids at Mickey and Minnie's mailboxes, to see how they've measured up trip to trip. I'm still holding out hope that they move the houses somewhere so we can continue that!
