Regarding, UFW, this was advertised: "Go behind-the-scenes at llumiNations: Reflections of Earth and learn a few of the secrets of the nighttime fireworks spectacular, from technical specifics to its symbolic relevance to Future World." But we didn't do it. Don't know if anyone else can chime in if they did this recently or not.

We did about 2 years ago, it wasn't that extensive and it was the last thing we did before the end of the tour.

So, to help me decide if the VIP Lounge at Nemo is anything to be excited about - can you tell me what the VIP lounge at Mission Space was like? o_O

The lounge itself wasn't that nice, but we got to see the private event space which is GORGEOUS.

Follow up. No, the lounge wasn't in use. We just passed through. If actually used, we probably wouldn't have gone in.

Thanks. OK so the Finding Nemo lounge is not going to be a big deal to me. After watching the video about the WS tour, and because of the pricing, I'm more inclined to do KTTK again this time. Not sure yet, but leaning lol.

I went back in October. My guide, Robert, was very good. He was humorous and informative.
Here's a brief summary:
1. LOTS of background history standing around in Guest Relations. This went on for almost an hour. It was interesting, really, but I wanted to tour!
2. Finally move backstage in Guest Relations. Wow! There's a printer and a CM assignment kiosk!
3. Exit into Innoventions East to view Sum of All Thrills and modular house
4. Exit into breezeway into center of FW to view main fountain and learn how it works. Learned about purpose of both sides of FW and what the colors from the new paint on the Innoventions buildings mean.
5. Visited Coral Reef Restaurant
6. Walked to The Land. Learned about architecture of pavillion.
7. Proceeded downstairs and outside between The Land/Soarin' and Imagination/Canada.
8. Entered Soarin' from backstage and rode it. Learned about future of attraction.
9. Walked to Imagination and went upstairs (now closed off)
10. Walked directly to Mission:Space. Stopped first at old EPCOT Center logo imprinted on walkway.
11. Visited Hewlett Packard VIP lounge in Mission:Space.
*** The rest is all backstage from here ***
12. Walked a grass path underneath the outside portion of Test Track. Viewed a unique aspect of the track and briefly entered the TT maintenance facility.
13. Then walked over to Cast Member Operations Building (can't remember exact name).
14. Viewed mostly costuming (check out/check in, seasonal, hairdressing, etc.)
15. Ended at backstage of China. Received a pin. Tour is over and you "enter" onstage at China.

Exactly how my tour went today. Even had the same guide.

Please tell us about the paint. I hate it so much. Please give me a reason to change that opinion.

This is what annoys me about EPCOT and I still see it happening today. These abandoned areas are just sad and what is there for Innoventions now is out dated and depressing. But it is cool that there are videos like this keeping track of these things.

Yes. It's so cool for someone to go into an area they're not supposed to be in and take a video of an empty building

If you're into the history of the parks and/or ever wanted to know what the empty/abandoned buildings were, then yes, it is kind of cool. I don't care if they go into an area that's off limits, they took that chance, same goes for the people who sneak into River Country.

It's an extremely lame reason. Blue is representative of the "mechanical aspects" of the park, and green represents the "Biological and creative" Side. They're also the colors of the current Innoventions collateral so it needed to match apparently.

Thank you for the answer. Unfortunately it just makes me hate the rainbow paint job more.
