101 Dalmatians (only Disney movie I could watch daily and not get tired of and I did watch it daily when my niece was little)
Aristocats
Pocahontas
Hunchback of Notre Dame

And even though there's generally merch for the first 3 I feel like its purely character driven and not for the movie as a whole.

Treasure Planet. It's gorgeous, it has lush 2D animation, it has great character design, retells Treasure Island masterfully, great worldbuilding, great voice acting, and its cyborg version of Long John Silver is a triumph.

Being that the Princess and the Frog is my favorite Disney movie, I feel it doesn't get the respect that movies like Frozen or Moana have gotten. I also feel Up should get way more respect as Pixar films like Toy Story and Finding Nemo have gotten way more notoriety then Up.

I agree Princess and the frog is such a great movie. It's way better than Moana and Frozen in my opinion. I agree UP is such a awesome movie. That movie always makes me tear up at the beginning.

Princess and the Frog is amazing in my opinion. When that movie came out I was like OMG I finally have a Black Princess that I can really relate too. I also really fell in love with the character Louis and also feel the the death and funeral scene of Ray is the saddest Disney death scene ever. Up is also a fantastic movie and I agree with you that the beginning is very emotional.

I agree it's such a beautiful film. I'm really sad Disney doesn't do more 2d movies. Plus the music is so good! I agree with all of your points :).

As you may be able to see from my avatar, I'm a big fan of The Fox and the Hound.

I do think it is sorely underrated. There isn't really much merchandise of it or mentions beyond the occasional social media post from Disney. It was a very important film for the history of Disney animation in that it was a transition between the old animators who worked with Walt and the new ones who went on to lead the 90s renaissance (as well as Don Bluth's departure). It has a great voice cast and very powerful themes.

fox and the hound, Tomorrowland (isn't what I expected but I loved it), lone ranger, and even though it has its fandom Wall-e really doesn't get the love it deserves esp in the parks it should get the same or more publicity of cars, monsters, or even toy story (although I think toy story should be the Pixar calling card)

AristoCats: other than really Marie being very popular the great movie itself is overlooked.
Robin Hood: The songs are cute and I love the twist on how the animals tell the story.
Brave: Merida is a fantastic princess type and the music in this movie is magnificent.
The Emperor's New Groove: This movie is really funny and has a great story and a great bunch of characters.
