Underground Tour?!?!?!

Does anyone have any pictures or anything they can say about the underground tours of the magic kingdom and disney world in genral? i have never done it but want to badly. Id love to hear and see if possible anything anyone has to say about the Tours!!

Its almost 100% guaranteed that you wont see Mickey or any character walking around in the tunnels fully costumed. Plus, thats the clean part of the tunnels. You should ask to go down to the Adventureland/Liberty Square part. Now THATS a tour.

Yes, Adventureland/LibertySquare smells like HVAC, not very pleasent! Lucky FantasyLand smells like the cherry pie effect in Philharmagic and MainStreet smells like cookies! I believe the tour goes only in a section of the utilidor off MainStreet near a lot of the scheduling offices, an area that's rather clean and that costumed characters rarely come near. The worst you would probably see there is a CM from the Emporioum with their shirt untucked.

Ive been dying to see those as well.My Xmas present this year from my wife is that shes sending me alone to Fl to see the Utilidoor tour and im doing a 3 or 4 day Disney Institute program as well.I might just sneak in a day at Mk too.:sohappy:

Me too-I can say that they are my fave band of all times. Have you ever been to DCA?There is a tibute band called HOTEL CALIFORNIA which plays there alot and I think once in Epcot and they rock too.Y ou can look their band site up under google.I love the Eagles soo much that I specifically learned how to play the guitar just so I could play Hotel California myself.

I seriously think The Eagles have the best cross appeal of any band out there, everyone likes them, even my 86 year old grandmother likes them and she's hardly the rockin type. I would love it if that cover band came to Epcot again.
But about those tunnels...

If you are talking about the Keys to the Kingdom tour that takes you backstage and stuff- you aren't allowed to take a camera with you. And if you have a camera- well, they watch you like a hawk so you don't take any pictures. It's a great tour in my opinion just to hear some neat stuff about Disney (even if you already know alot) and you get to go backstage. When we were backstage at one point we got to see them working on the December Parade- the dancers were wearing the dwarves head but not the rest of the costume....Kinda different.

When i went for the tour, we went in the main street tunnel area up to the long stretch to fantasyland, backstage of tomorrowland, and backstage of frontierland.

My wife and I did the all day behind the scenes afew years ago and thouroughly enjoyed it. Utilidors are a small part of what you see.

My favorite was a visit to the Christmas decoration warehouses, 2 of them.

Wow, those are OLD pictures! They're from the Walt Disney World Explorer, I know because I have the program But actually, there aren't any pictures of the tunnels because photographs are not allowed down there.
