Under-rated restaurants

There have been posts about over-rated restaurants, but what about the under-rated ones? The ones you never hear much about, but are pleasantly surprised when you eat there? I'm also including quick-service too.

For me, I've had a number of surprisingly good quick-service meals at Columbia Harbour House. Basic food, but tasty. Excellent pasta at the PORS quick-service restaurant. The food at the Sci-Fi Dine in Theater was also surprisingly good.

Some restaurants that IMHO do not get enough "love" are Plaza Restaurant, Grand Floridian Cafe, Kona Cafe, Captain's Grille and restaurant Marrakesh.
I know the 4 out of the 5 places well and I think highly of them.

I can you the deal with the Plaza Restaurant is. If you are on the Disney Dinning Plan, it isn't a place that people would like at due the cost of the food. Plaza has great food, but the type food they serve is cheap by Disney prices and that means you are better off going to another restaurant as a result if you are on the Disney Dining plan.

Grand Floridian Cafe, and Kona Cafe have been must haves on my trip list for a long time. Captain's Grille is a place that has been must for me for the last few years.

Restaurant Marrakesh is the single most under-rated one out there. Nobody except me raves about it, you can always get a table there and IMO its the best one in Epcot.

EXCELLENT service. They are SO nice and helpful there.
Yummy food.
Belly dancer.
Gorgeous pavilion.

It's just really, really good. And nobody goes there, lol.

I'm almost afraid to say nice things about it. I worry that it might become the next Boma or Le Cellier and I won't be able to do walk-ups any longer, lol.

T-Rex. It is totally loud and annoying, no doubt. But the food is yummy. I have never had a bad meal there, which, sadly, I can no longer say for RFC...though I do still love my cranberry waffle breakfasts there.

I agree, Olivia's was very good the couple of times we have gone so that is my choice as well. I don't know if its underrated, or just not known well enough because its never really talked about all that much.

I'm thrilled to hear this. We're booked at OKW later this summer and plan to try Olivia's for breakfast and dinner!

I've tried and loved the Moroccan quick service but never sit down. Will have to do so now. I really enjoyed the QServe as it was fast, good, and of course the pavillion has great atmosphere.
