You have recveived an invitation to a Tea Party on the grounds of the Queen of Hearts' castle. Alice has gotten special permission from the King of Hearts, since the Queen is away visiting her sister the Queen of Diamonds, to have this party, which will also be an Unbirthday Party for the Mad Hatter. You arrive and find that the guest list is interesting and varied. Some of the guests you feel that you will get along with, others you aren't so sure. But in the end, you're sure this will be a fun time. As the rest of the guests finally arrive or are wandering nearby, Alice comes out and calls out to everyone:
Alice: "Hello everyone! Oh, I want to thank you all ever so much for coming to my party. The Mad Hatter will be arriving in just a couple of minutes, and then we can all wish him a very merry unbirthday, indeed."
Mad Hatter: "Oh, my! What a lovely looking party! Is this for me?"
Alice: "Yes, it is. It's a special unbirthday tea party for you.
Mad Hatter: "Well this is just about the nicest thing anyone has done for me! I could just cry..."
Alice: "Nonsense. We'll have none of that, now. It's time to enjoy this party."
Queen of Hearts: *Enters the area* "ENJOY IT WHILE YOU CAN! This will likely be the last party you ever attend."
Alice: "Your Majesty, what are you doing here? I thought you were going to be away."
QoH: "I was, but then I caught one of my cards painting the roses red and in exchange for not cutting off his head, he told me about this little... gathering. So I felt the need to do something about it."
"If you're going to try to stop us from having it..."
QoH: "Oh! On the contrary my dear, I want you to stay here. My cards are even going to make sure that you can't leave. I've got a little surprise of my own for you all. I sent some special tarts to two of your guests. Those two guests were then willing to follow any suggestion I gave them, so I told them to kill you all, one by one. Of course, I'll give you a sporting chance, you can have two guests be "Detectives" in order to try to catch the killers. If you catch them both, the survivors can leave. If not, then everyone will be dead. Agreed?"
Cheshire Cat: *Appears slowly on the table* "Of course, if she had to pick her detectives here and now, that wouldn't be fair, so she has already picked her detectives."
QoH: "WHAT? SHE HAS?!?!
Alice: "I have? When did I... wait... I remember the Cheshire Cat stopping by when I was filling out the invitations. He had me put the invitations into packages and had me add little gifts for everyone. Two of them looked alot like badges detectives would wear." *Looks at Cheshire Cat* "You knew this was going to happen?"
Cheshire Cat: "Knew what was going to happen?"
Alice: "That the Queen of Hearts was going to send killers to my party!"
Cheshire Cat: "She did? Then I think it's time I left. Goodbye." *Cheshire Cat fades*
QoH: "Well, no matter. You're detectives will never catch my killers in time. And I won't even have to yell OFF WITH THEIR HEADS! this time. But, to the pair who are under my control, let them have their party for a little bit, and then... OFF WITH THEIR HEADS! Of course, if you want to come up with more creative methods, I'm not opposed..." *QoH exits*
Mad Hatter: "Oh, this is awful! This is the worst unbirthday ever!"
Alice: "Don't worry, Hatter. I'm sure the detectives will catch these killers before too long. At least, I hope they will... Good luck detectives! We're all counting on you."
