Are umbrellas allowed at WDW parks?

I am not sure about this, not even seen one in pics or as merchandise..carry ponchos..we do..much easier!

We'll be there tomorrow and Saturday and its calling for rain all day on both days (of course) but I'm hoping its just sporadic. Just want to be prepared. We have ponchos too.

Yes. They even sell them in the parks.

Leaving in a little while for airport. Is the weather really going to be as bad as they are predicting?? It's been changing all week!! Only there Friday to Monday afternoon so was hoping for the best. Any chance it will change????

I totally agree with you on this, however last May we purchased umbrellas. I was so tired of constently wearing a rain poncho, and when it poured for hours we needed both the ponchos & umbrellas. I have never been so wet and seen so much rain at WDW

Also note that if you buy an umbrella at WDW and it breaks, show your receipt and they will replace it at no charge.

80% chance of rain for Friday, then clearing out for the weekend...at least that was what the local news said at 10pm last night.

I carry a mini umbrella which opens out to full size, but takes up a tiny bit of space in my bag. I prefer an umbrell to a poncho.

At the moment the weather looks to be a washout for all day Friday and into Saturday morning. Improving as Saturday goes on, and then good all Sunday.
