Um, actually the hosts of season 5 were so good that they came up with the name endgame before the avengers announcement!

I was going to say the SYWTBAI was named after So you want to be a millionaire but as it turns out that's not the actual name of the show

But you are correct! Iirc correctly "Endgame" was the rumored title of Avengers 4, but the Russo Bros denied it being the name. So, @AceAstro @D Hulk and KMB took it first because it was such a perfect name for an epic showdown and SA5 was all about the epic heroes vs villain clash

Um, actually the Orange Bird doesn’t canonically communicate through typical thought bubbles, but rather orange clouds of smoke

Um, Actually it is more of a "teaser" than an "announcement"

Citrus Dreamin' 2 is coming very soon!
Hoping it will be a fun time an epic adventure for us all!

Basically! With SA4 being called "Homecoming" we wanted to follow the Marvel project names. We weren't sure what title to go with but since it was a Villians themed season, @kmbmw777 suggested the rumoured title of Endgame, because even if it wasn't the Avengers title, it fit our theme so perfectly!

As someone whose childhood movie was Cars, it’s a great franchise, but not everything needs a continuation, especially if it’s not telling a strong story in its own right. I enjoy both Cars 2 and 3, but they also left a lot to be desired.

If Cars 4 were announced, I’d hope it would be because a great story was pitched, 2 & 3 felt more like obligations. I think returning to Radiator Springs and the side characters there would be a great start. I felt a lot of the charm & heart from the first was missing in its sequels.

The “true” Cars sequel is the surprisingly great tie-in game.

I agree that a return to Radiator Springs would be the best way to continue. I honestly feel like a TV series would be better than a sequel for both Cars and Toy Story. No more big next step stories with pressure to raise the stakes, let's have smaller stories with these beloved ensembles! Looked how well it worked for Tangled and Big Hero 6! Do that Pixar!

I honestly think the best way to do a Cars 4 would be showcasing more of the world & its history. Sure, we've already seen parts of the Cars world in the sequels & spin-offs, but I'm talking about why everything is car/automobile themed & how the cars are created. I also think having a focus on electric cars would be a great starting point as well, especially due to how popular they are nowadays.

I also really like the TV show idea. Focusing on Radiator Springs & the side characters (maybe leaning into their backstories) would be something I would totally be invested in.

I'm still reeling from the fact that Mater has a rich sister, and not once did it ever cross his mind to ask her for help with saving Radiator Springs. Then again, it is Mater. He probably forgot he had a sister. Plus, she's not even a tow truck which brings up the frustrating question about how Cars are siblings and I've gone cross-eyed!
