Ultimate Resort

OK, I have this idea: I think we should dedicate a thread to the creation of the most spectacular resort EVER at WDW. Every step along the way will be thought out with the greatest of care and attention to detail, from the location, to the theme, to the transportation, to the art work. We'll start off by suggesting themes. I will suggest Ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome, a lost civilization, and Colonial Williamsburg. Any takers?

I was thinking about a Space Station type theme

It's been said that the maic Kingdom area resorts are spposed to represent the different lands of the magic kingdom. The only one missing is fantasyland so how about a medievil castle themed resort.

How about an Atlantis theme. We'll build it under the surface of the seven seas lagoon ; )

The Seven Seas Lagoon is Only 15 feet deep:lol: . A resort sitting in the Middile would be kinda cool though. Actually, really cool. You could take a boat there and it could be themed to atlantis. Yeah, That would ROCK!

How about a resort covering the 4 seasons (pity that name's already taken huh?) Anyway the reort would be split into 4 areas:

Spring-Where fresh flowers adorn the rooms and grassy garderns are everywhere.

Summer-A warm bright area with lots of activities for everyone with water features and loads of fruit trees

Autumn/Fall (depending on your location)-Rooms full of browns, greens, with leaf motifs, Thanksgiving decorations e.t.c.

Winter- Snow covered gardens, christmas trees, ski lodge feel.

What do you think?

I had an idea like that a long time ago, but it was based on the holidays. Like one building themed to Christmas, one to halloween, easter, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, and a Mardi Gras themed food court. The pool would be themed to summer time fun. Does this idea sound good?

Sounds great! I have started planning my initial ideas but there is really not enough theming availiable to make this effective. I think we should carry on with your idea!

I was thinking a Pixar Value Resort and the theme is your favorite Pixar movies Like The Incredibles, Wall-E and some others!

I really like the idea of doing the different Holidays. My birthday is on Halloween so I would definitely stay in the Halloween part of the resort. With the Halloween part there could be jack-o-lanterns everywhere!
