Ultimate Resort Poll

Hopefully this should be some fun, plus give a good idea as to what the forum's favorite resorts are. Here's what to do - Rank every resort starting from the number 1. Number 1 is your favorite. Whatever is the highest number is your least favorite. Even if you haven't stayed at particular resort, just rank it based on how interested you'd be in staying there. I'll leave poll open for 1 month so everybody has a chance to vote. I'll list all resorts below to save you the work. Just copy and paste, and rank them. At the end of the month, I'll tally the total and see where we end up. Just please keep them alphabetical so it will be easier to do the counts at month's end.

Grand Floridian- 16 votes
Wilderness Lodge- 10 votes
Tied with 5 votes- PORS, AKL, Boardwalk, and Beach Club
Tied with 2 votes- POFQ, Yatch Club, Coronado, and Bay Lake

With all due respect, I'm leaving the poll open until April 30, and we're not going by total #1 votes. Read the 1st post to see how I'll come up with final rankings for each resort.

Dear captainkidd- I would like to apologize for stealing your thunder. My intent was not to highjack your post or disappoint anyone with the information I provided. Curiosity got the best of me, and I had so much fun tallying the votes that I thought it would be nice to share. Once again I am sorry if my post upset you.

Despite my reservations with this survey, here are my choices. My reservations (pun fully intended) are that people rank things lower because they have not been there. While it would take more math, I would like to see a similar poll where you only vote based on those you have stayed at. Definitely some higher algorithms to make that work - and I know I'm not about to figure them out! (that said, my family has at least visited every resort except a couple all-stars AND in my list those we have not spent at least one night in are marked with a *)

I did find this funny! You do have to admire their enthusiasm! I must admit captainkidd this has been going on a while! I was pleased to see the results tallied up! :ROFLOL:

They can count all they want. The point was, to keep the poll fair and accurate, I wanted to leave it open for 1 month. Plus, the way they were counting in reference to how people were voting, didn't make sense.

I think I was perfectly polite about it. A lot of people have spent time on this poll and are obviously interested in the results. I just want to make sure I give them most accurate results possible.

I haven't stayed at enough resorts to answer, but thought I would bump this. Can't wait for the totals as I might use this to help me book my trip next summer.
