How does the direct with Disney prices compare with the high street and where do you book flights and connections?

From booking DLP on the high street, its the same price as they call Disney when your in the travel agents. But they charge you a booking fee per person which works out expensive. The down side is, if you want to call disney or add extras you have to do it via the agent. Since then we book everything direct. Booking direct gives you more freedom of choice. We book our flights direct with disney, they got us a huge discount when we booked 18 months out. You don't get to choose who you fly with though but its usually BA or Virgin I think? When we booked 9 months in advance the discount wasent so good but we choose flights and times to suit. With regards to booking the flight inclusive package, its better for insurance reasons. If there are delays/cancellations you have more chance of getting a quick solution to the issues. Its also easier if you had to cancel for any reason. As for connections, we always fly direct from London and get the free disney transfer to the resort. This is all done when you book for no extra cost. Disney cast members are great at giving you tips and advise on booking and trip planning.
