Can anybody tell me about the shops at the UK Pavilion? I'll admit in all my visits to Epcot I haven't spent much time there, but, having recently discovered my Welsh ancestry, :sohappy: I'm wondering what the stores there have to offer. Is there anywhere I can find something cool and unique that reflects this newly uncovered heritage? Thanks in advance...

When we were there, DD bought a T-shirt with a Welsh flag on it.
Cool...thanks! You don't happen to know the name of the store, do you?

On a somewhat related note, does anyone know of a website that lists all of what's in every attraction? You sure can't find it on the WDW website!

What part of Wales were your ancestors from? How long ago?

There used to be a Welsh area of the smaller shop in Epcot, they used to sell love spoons, Welsh jewellery and mugs with daffodils on them, but there is not much there any more. There is often a Welsh cast member there though, I have spoken to them in the past. They would love to talk to you about Wales. To be honest, I think they'll be impressed that you have even heard of Wales! Just don't say 'Oh yeah, Wales, that's in England right?' :brick:

I think they still sell lovespoons if you want something really Welsh.

There is a Twinings tea store. A sports jersey store. A store that sells chess sets and toys.(I believe it's in with the jersey store, however, as the previous poster said, some of them run together.) A fragrance store, and a Coat of Arms store, where you can look up your family crest. And, The Rose and Crown, where you can knock back a pint to your ancestors!

My ancestors came over from Monmouthshire in the 1600's, but my grandfather's research goes back to the 300's! Looks like my ancestors stayed pretty much in that area--Gwent/Monmouthshire, Southeastern Wales. The family tree itself isn't that interesting to me (my grandfather is consumed with it), but I'm excited to actually have a documented heritage, if you know what I mean. We used to say, "we know there's probably some Irish or Scotch or Welsh somewhere and some Cherokee" and stuff like that, but now we can say that our family's heritage is Welsh. That's pretty cool to me, and I've just started to dig into the history and geography of Wales; I want to learn as much as I can.

Thanks for the info!

In the UK there's the...

The Crowne & Crest (mugs etc)
The Sportsman Shoppe (clothing and sports accessories)
The Tea Caddy (tea buscuits and candy)
The Toy Soldier (british toys)
The Queen's Table (soaps and fragrances)
The Magic of Wales (pottery, jewelry, souvenirs)

I'm pretty sure these are the only ones. We got to really appreciate the stores when we were waiting for our table at Rose and Crown in 2007...:)

Thanks!

Sorry...no offense intended. I'm sure if you look deeply enough into my family tree, there's plenty of Scotch... :ROFLOL:

the best thing that I have found at the UK shops is they have mr. men and little miss books, when i was growing up I had one of those books and loved the pictures. So everytime we go now we usually pick up another one of those books to add to the collection.
