The film based on TZTOT, Tower of Terror, starring Steve Guttenburg, is on Channel 5 this Sunday (tomorrow) at 1815

Not a fantastic film, but is heavily based on the interior of the hotel (and its backstory) and so its a must see!

Thanks very much for that :) , I will have to record it because I am going to Lego land tomorw, Not Quite WDW but ohh well.

Edit: If this is the film I think it is, I think I all ready have it on Disney DVD

Dang i'm gonna miss it - Got a drama workshop thing in some random part of the country.

Is it of the same mediocre quality of The Haunted Mansion film? I only like that film because it is SO close to the ride.

Are you going to record it? Can you get it from TV -> PC, if we do miss it? :D

I'll try and remember, thanks

It's a better film than Haunted Mansion on a fraction of the budget. It's still not a particularly good film, but for we WDW fans it's a fun watch.

I actually bought it on NTSC VHS.... I think I`ve seen it somewhere on Disney Central - but since its definatley a copyright thingy I`m not going to get involved.

From the opening credit sequence you just know how tied in with the attraction the film is. An example of the closeness to the ride - you get to hear the entire `its raining, its pouring..` spiel.

I think I've seen it before, is it the one with a young Kirsten Dunst? I seem to remember it was quite a nice look at the back story thing.

Pippa - thats the one. Steve Guttenburg, Kirsten Dunst, Nia Peeples, Michael McShane, Amzie Strickland, Melora Hardin, Alastair Duncan, Lindsay Ridgeway, John Franklin & Wendy Worthington.

I still like the way you could be watching an extended version of the preshow video everytime you see the bellhop and the Tip Top Club partygoers...

Can anyone confirm if the film was shot in Orlando (at night) or on a stage? The hotel Foyer looks spot on if its a replica...

Take it for what it's worth, but according to the Internet Movie Database, part of the film was made in Florida. It doesn't specify anything further as to which scenes, it could very well just mean exterior shots, but my guess would be it was filmed in the actual ToT.
