I don't know how many of you watch the UFC, but wow was that final fight a whopper!! I didn't get a chance to see the rest of the card but watching Silva's leg snap like that was pretty gross. I know lots of people are going to say that we didn't get an answer to whether the first win was a fluke for Weidman, but I say no to that notion. Checking leg kicks is a great defense and Weidman was prepared. Sure, you can't prepare enough to make the guy snap his leg but this was a solid win for Weidman. Sadly, this is going to be the end of Silva in this sport.

Holy chit!! Really?!?! We paid for the PPV for the first match up. I swear to you when it was over, with the post fight interviews & all, I thought Silva threw the fight. Last night we didn't do the PPV live, tho. All of DH's family was over for their Christmas party so we kept the tv off. We were talking about the fight before dinner, tho. Someone suggested buying it and having it on. Glad we didn't. First, because I wouldn't chance crossing my MiL that way. Second, because seeing a gross leg snap with our stomachs that overfull would've certainly made some of the girls hurl. LOL!

I can handle blood and guts all day long, even if I'm eating. But something about broken bones really gets to me. Dunno why but it's just that way with me. Not only could you see his leg bend when it broke but you could hear the snap, it was that loud.

I just watched it on youtube - nasty...The leg starts to wrap around like he's Plastic Man.
