I am so sorry. Our beloved beagle passed away last month after 15 years. We knew her day was coming but it was still so upsetting when mom called me that night. We have two dachshunds as well and we could tell they took the loss just as hard as us. For a few weeks they would walk around the home almost aimlessly and lay in some of our beagle's favorite spots. But the female dachshund just had a pup this weekend, who has a similar color to the beagle, so we've had some new joy in our lives the last few days.

Sorry for your loss. 15 years was a long, and I bet happy life, for your beagle.

So sorry for your loss. Some people don't understand that it is truly losing one of your family. We've gone through it twice and it doesn't get easier. My old girl Pug, Belle, turns 10 in a few weeks. It's when you hit those double digits that you thank God for every day you have them.

So true. We don't have children and Tyson was, just as Snow is, a family member to us.

Here is a photo of Tyson when he was much younger, before we ever got Snow. Both rescues, Tyson was about five years older than Snow.

Awe. Too cute. It is so rough when we loose one. I got on a plane and went to Disney when I lost Walter a few years back. Still miss him.

But to make you smile my son just bought Walters clone 2 weeks ago. He is 10 weeks.
