Typhoon Lagoon will be open:

My group and I love the waterparks, and the latest postings around here stated that they would be closed until Dec. 1. Worried, my friend Carole called Disney and asked what would and wouldn't be open. For the time that we'll be gone: Oct. 13- 22, Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach will be open. River Country will be closed for refurbishment.

BTW: Does anyone know what rides will be closed? Is the lousy Imagination ride truly closed? I was kinda hoping to ride it once more and get it on tape. If anyone has a list of closings, please post them.

Hey Grim, that is outstanding. We will be there the same time you will. We looked at the web site and got the info about the closing. I hope the CM you talked to is right and the web site is wrong. We were looking forward to TL.:sohappy:

There pretty smart, closing the park for rehab when no one will go anyway. Thats my disney!
Anyways, RC is closed for rehab AGAIN? I thought it just opened a couple of months ago after its last rehab? How dirty does that place get?

I will be going back to WDW in December, hoping to go to Typhoon. If it will be open, thats great, considering that both times i tried going, i was rained out (and unfortunately, lost the rain checks). oh well, have fun! peace
