Typhoon lagoon or blizzard beach

Hey fellow Disney geeks, I'm taking a trip this summer to the happiest place on earth and I need some advice. I'm considering the water park option and I don't know what to pick. I mean blizzard beach has that awesome slide and typhoon lagoon has the lazy river. Both are awesome but if you can give some of the highlights and lowlights of each one I should be able to pick. Please don't start an argument over which one is better.

Typhoon lagoon is like going to the beach, a little more relaxing with some fun stuff to do.
Blizzard beach is like going to an amusement park with little relaxation.

Pick which suits best. My preference is TL, but I enjoy sitting in and around the wave pool all day (largest and best I've ever been to).

Blizzard Beach also has a lazy river. :)

Typhoon Lagoon
-Crushin' Gusher
-Wave Pool (Blizzard Beach has one
-Shark Reef

Blizzard Beach
-Summit Plummit
-Family Raft Ride
-Mat slides
-Inner Tube slides

I think the slides overall are better at Blizzard Beach, but the wave pool is better at Typhoon Lagoon. If you're looking for a day of doing slides, Blizzard Beach. If you're looking more to swim and relax, Typhoon Lagoon.

For Me:
Typhoon Lagoon wins for the theming, and the wave pool.

Blizzard Beach wins for the slides.

We've always done both.
I would guess that if I could only go to one, I would pick Typhoon Lagoon since in the end - most of our time ultimately gets spent in the wave pool after all the slides are hit, and I just prefer Typhoon Lagoon for it's atmosphere and theming.

We tend to pick Blizzard Beach. The theming is fun, and they seem to have more fun slides. The racing mat slides are our favorite. Plus they have an actual chair lift!

On the flip side, Typhoon Lagoon has the tropical feel, a sand beach with real waves, and you can swim with the sharks (which is freezing water!). I think they also have a slide coaster, but it's really short.

We may go to Typhoon Lagoon in June when we visit Universal.

no I just grew up with Disney world being called that in my family sry if I confused you

No confusion. I was just trying in my borderline snotty way to make a point that DL is the Happiest Place on Earth. The MK is the Most Magical Place on Earth (or is that all of WDW?).

Disneyland Resort: The Happiest Place on Earth
Disneyland Park: The Happiest Place on Earth

Walt Disney World
: Where Dreams Come True (Previously 'The Vacation Kingdom of the World')
Magic Kingdom: Most Magical Place on Earth

Disneyland Resort Paris
: Where Magic Lives
Disneyland Park Paris: The Happiest Place on Earth

I assume Tokyo, Hong Kong and Shanghai will also be 'The Happiest Place on Earth' since they are Disneylands.

Annnd before any one says that this is wrong and Disneyland California is the only 'Happiest place on Earth' then explain why Paris merch says this:

Typhoon Lagoon for the win.

Tropical, laid back, beachy vibes...Crush n Gusher, Humunga Cowabunga, Storm Slides, and Mayday Falls are all great slides, the wave pool has legit waves for those ho can actually catch them, and Shark Reef is a terrific attraction. Plus the food options I find better- more tropically inspired.

Blizzard Beach just never feels relaxing.
