Hi All,

We bought a refillable mug last year from TL and we want to bring it back this year. My understanding is that we can just buy a barcode the day we go and it will allow us re-fills for that day.

Is this how it works? How much is it to purchase a barcode?

If not, how much is the new mug?

I do not think that you can bring your old mug and get a new barcode for it. A new mug with a current barcode is $9.99

Hmmm, I remember a lady last year with an older mug *maybe 2-3 years old* and she had TONS of barcodes on them and told me that you just need to buy the barcode for that day.

It is quite possible that they just might sell the barcode sticker but I have not seen any separate pricing for just the sticker. If it is available it very well might be the same price as a new cup.

Yeah last year I was told you could buy just the bar code if you had one of the big mugs with you.

The barcode is somehting that's been in place for about a decade. It's a few bucks cheaper to get the barcode.

If I remember correctly, the barcode is around $6 and getting a new mug is about $12-$13.....

We just went in April and brought our old mugs and got the bar codes for the day. Sorry I can't remember price exactly, DH paid!


There are refill stations throughout the park....works great for us.

See, I knew I wasn't going crazy! lol.

If there is a new mug, for sure we will get it because we consider those as part of our souvenirs however we'll still bring our old one and just buy a barcode if the mugs are the same

Yes, there are new mugs this year. However, we took our same mug from last year and they gladly gave us the daily barcode. We've done it twice this year without any problems. The daily sticker costs $6.50 at the Pedal Cart when you enter. The new mugs are around $10. Have a great time!
