Typhoon Lagoon-December

I know Typhoon Lagoon is closed for November, but who cares??! My trip is in December. The 5th-13th. Not that anyone knows for sure, but could anyone guestimate how long it could be shut down for? I've looked at past calendars and seen it closed for several months. I'm hoping its open in December, its my favorite park.
