Two Universal questions

I will be coming to Orlando in December. I have two little questions about Universal.
How is the revamped Blue Man Group show?
and
Are the CityWalk mini golf courses worth it if I want something to do one day?

They're definitely pricey, but I enjoyed Hollywood Drive-In Golf. Only intended to play one side, but ended up playing both.

I haven't seen the new BMG show, but I've heard great things from friends. The old show was still great to me. And Hollywood Drive-In Mini Golf is great fun and playing both courses is definitely recommended!

I'm just glad to have a new BMG show to see! I saw if once in NYC, off off Broadway! Saw it once in Orlando, and saw the Vegas show twice.

I honestly feel that the revamped version of BMG isn't as good as the old one. They changed the show early last year and for the most part it's the same show. It's still a fun show that we actually see every year but we kind of missed the old ending (which was more fun) and don't want to give any details for those who haven't seen the show.

The mini-golf was O.K., I've been to much better and much worse. I wouldn't budget more than 2 hours there unless it is seriously crowed or you have a couple of turtles playing in front of you.

I've seen the show. By changing the ending, do you mean it no longer involved a certain rolled product?

I love Blue Man Group, i've been twice. But I have not seen the new show. As for the golfing, it does look fun! I'd give them both a try :) BMG is something for you to do at night after the park :)

I went on the Uni website, and it looks like the day I want to see it, it shows at 8pm.

Yeah, they used to have a show at 3 pm but I guess they stopped having it at the time, since most people go to the park. Its a night show now I guess... But if you have time at night, its worth it

I'll be two nights at Uni, before doing 7 nights at Disney. I'll definitely fit BMG in one of my Uni nights.

Try to get seats in the "poncho section" except for one small part of the show the ponchos aren't really needed (you don't actually get "wet"). The closer you are to the stage the better (their facial expressions are big part of the show).

I know. I've been front row twice in Vegas, and once in Orlando. I wouldn't want to do it any other way.

The new show combines new sketches with old sketches. The ending is also different, but I had a lot of fun with the new ending. You won't be disappointed.

I still prefer Fantasia Gardens at Disney to Hollywood Drive-In but it's still a cool course. Just like everyone else said, play it at night. You can bring alcohol on the course so if you're of age, bring a drink with you!

I'm going to do both courses. I see on the website that the courses are open till 2am every night. I'll probably do them after I see Blue Man, my first night. Second day/night will be at the parks all day. Then it's up bright and early to go to my Disney hotel to get my park ticket and whatnot.
