Twilight Zone props in Tower of Terror

There are several props from the old Twilight Zone series scattered throughout the TOT. How many have been spotted by fans of the show?
Here are the few that I have spotted:
(This is the DCA version of the TOT, As I am more familiar with it)

1. As you enter the lobby, there are a pair of broken glasses laying on a table. An episode featured Burgess Meredith as a man interested only in reading every book that he could get his hands on. Nuclear holocaust destroys mankind leaving Mr. Meredith as the last man on Earth. Excited by the prospect of being able to read every book without interruption, he drops and breaks his glasses and is unable to read a thing.

2. On a couch in the lobby, there is a talking doll. Telly Savalas starred in an episode as an abusive stepfather. The talking doll belonged to his stepdaughter. The doll spoke to Telly several times and threatened to kill him. At the climax an enraged Telly chases his stepdaughter in order to discipline her, trips over the doll, rolls down the stairs and breaks his neck.

3. In a display case just outside the library, there is a broken stopwatch. There was an episode where the owner of the stopwatch (not quite sure who played the part) utilized the watch to freeze time. After using the special stopwatch to commit several dastardly deeds, he drops and breaks the watch (again) and time is frozen FOREVER.

4. In the library, on the shelf above is a small devil's head attached to an old time fortune telling machine. William Shatner played a man whose life was ruled by whatever fortune was dispensed by the machine. And by the end of the episode, it was apparent that he and his wife were not the only people whose lives were controlled by the fortune telling machine from HELL.

So, has anyone spotted any other props in the TOT?

I know the devil head machine is in Florida's version also. I know that the Imagineers wanted everything as authentic as possible so everything thats supposed to be an antique is. The theming for the ToT's is the best in my opinion. I rode Florida's first and was really excited when I heard they were building one in CA. I ride every time I go. I'm sure there are more props from the TV show but since I havent seen it in years I cant tell what all are props.

I think there's a ventriliquist dummy in the piles of assorted "junk" after the drops on the ride itself, once you turn to face the shaft doors.

*hides under a blanket* I hate ventriliquist dummies!!

I think that is only in the MGM version, I would have noticed it in the DCA one. In the MGM version, you get out in a different place from where you got in. I think that's where the dummy is. DCA doesn't have that extra area, you just get in and out in the same place.

I'm not sure if this is in the DCA version (I'm more familiar with the MGM...aka superior...version), but in the television room, there is a little miniature "spaceman" from the episode "Invaders" with Agnes Moorhead.

A classic.

I have also noticed in the display case, under the screens where your ride photos appear, an old radio, old camera and old typewriter. I am certain that these are all from various episodes. But I'm a little hazy on the details.

Could you explain where exactly the miniature spaceman can be spotted? "The Invaders" was one of the most suspenseful Twilight Zone episodes I've ever seen and I'd love to see it.

Also, I believe in both of the Tower Library rooms there is a book with the title "To Serve Man" on the desk (from the episode of the same name).

I know it's up on one of the shelves, and if memory serves, it seems like it is kind of in the corner.

I think the camera is from the episode where they take pictures and then a few minutes later, what they took a picture of happens. I think the episode was called something like, "A Certain Kind of Camera", or something to that effect. The radio and typewriter I'm not sure.

The camera is from the episdoe, "A Most Unusual Camera", which follows the storyline you mentioned.

The self-typing typewritter with the message written is from "A Thing About Machines" where the character, Bartlett Fincheley, hates machines, and in turn, the machines hate him. The typewriter types the message "Get out of here, Finchely."

The radio is from the episode "Static" where an old, antique radio tunes in radio transmissions from the past.

Here's a complete list of all the props from the Twilight Zone:

Most of the list has links. If you click on them, you can see pictures each prop/reference.
Enjoy! :)

Very cool. I love the Twilight Zone and it's nice to see that there's all of these references to the show in the ride. Some of them you have to be a real Twilight Zone geek to get, though (and I am, haha).

I know this thread is a little old, but I get a "Page Not Found" message when clicking that link. Any idea where it might have moved on that site? I can't seem to find it. I hope it wasn't taken down!

We watched this episode in grade 8. Immediately following, we watched the episode where the mannequins come to life for a day/whatever. Scared the heck out of the entire class. Thank your, Mrs. Durling.
