I have always wondered how long interest in the Marvel films can last. If they keep making good movies will people keep going to see them, or will people eventually tire of them?

Look at how many Batman movies they made... and that was with just a single character. Look at Superman...

Sid Bass pushed Eisner pretty hard to develop WDW. He saw its huge land holdings as a phenomenal investment opportunity.

And he was right.

Arguably, perhaps more than any person other than Roy & Walt Disney, fans of WDW should thank Sid Bass. :)

Not me. And I'm not going to be persuaded even if y'all are right and I am wrong.

The last two Superman movies have left a LOT to be desired. Batman was far better revived. Henry Cavill works as Superman though.

I am more a DC guy than a Marvel guy but I have been disappointed with the DC movies as a whole. Marvel has done a much better job putting comic to screen IMO. I think there is a wealth of rich stories to tell with the DC Universe, even more than with the Marvel but they just are not doing it very well IMO. Heck the only thing I have loved in the last decade from DC film/TV is Arrow on TV, that is a great show :)

Yeah, SW VII should hit $1B worldwide without even breaking a sweat.

I couldn't agree more......I think this is going to be huge....I mean record breaking huge. They are going to pull in multiple generations with this movie. Its going to have the whole family sitting there. I think George missed out on this thing bringing back some of the original cast. They say timing is everything in life and its time. Like most things we talk about when discussing Disney is....execution. Its there for the taking. I also think there hasn't been another marketing mega monster like SW's....ever!

Sure Dis stock is at 81 ( as of last Monday ...I think)...but if someone wants to make a buck buy now....even at 81. Its going higher before it goes lower. When SW gets p and running POTC will be put on the shelf for a while. Why make a iffy ROI movie when you can hit a homerun in the next three at bats with SW. I also agree with slowing down the Marvel presence. Saturation can be a problem. Off the top of my head I can not think of a more fickle customer then a movie goer.
