TV Throwdown: Friends vs Seinfeld

Seinfeld without question…best sitcom of all times….I have seen every episode dozens of times and still laugh out loud

I have to say friends by a mile for me. I was never a fan of Seinfeld, his comedy just never hit with me. I thought friends was great in the beginning, was mediocre in the middle but I thought got back to form for the last few seasons.

I like both, so it depends what I'm in the mood for. Both have absolutely classic references that if you know the show well enough you can drop at random. I might say Friends by a slim margin for me only because I can binge Friends. Seinfeld, although I do love it, will get on my nerves after a while, I think because the characters are (intentionally) horrible people, so I like it in smaller doses.

I didn't grow up watching Friends, but I did watching Seinfeld. I can find Friends amusing, the wife is a big Friends fan but I simply can't do more than a couple of episodes. I could endlessly watch Seinfeld.

Seinfeld is better than Friends. But when Friends was great early on, it was TERRIFIC. And when Seinfeld was at its end, it was painfully bad!
