TV shows at Disney?

Ok, i'm sure everybody's seen "Full House", Boy Meet's World, Step by Step, Family Matters, and others. But have you seen the episodes when they go to Disney? I love these, whenever they show re-runs. But Anyways my question is When they filmed the shows at Disney, Did Disney pay the company to send them out to Disney? Or did the Company pay Disney to send them to Disney World? Thanks! This has been on my mind for quite a while. Post!

i could definitely be mistaken here, but i always assumed the shows that went to disney were abc or disney shows, and therefore the cost would pretty much be indifferent... kind of a self promotion thing... again, this is just an assumption on my part and i could definitely be wrong...

yeah i think most of those shows were abc...and wasn't abc affiliated with disney before disney bought it out...?

Thats sooo wierd! I was just thinking about this last week!! I know Family Matters went to Wilderness Lodge like a few weeks after we went there.. I actually tried to search the net about this question, but nothing would come up.

All show that went to WDW were either an ABC line up show or produced or distrubited by one of the companys owned by Disney

When did disney buy ABC cause i thought when full house was on, it wasnt owned by them yet... that was a loooong time ago.

While shows may not have been Disney owned ABC shows, I remember ABC showing Wonderful World of Disney for some years now. When did WWofD start on ABC? Could that be part of the reason why un-Disney shows showed up at WDW?

disney and abc became affiliated when walt ran the show "Disneyland" as a promotion for the new and upcoming park, in change for abc promoting dollars disney's way. they have been working side by side ever since, and now disney owns them.

I dont know if any movie was filmed in Disney World, but I know alot that were filmed in Disneyland... like that one with Tom hanks and liv tyler, cant remember the name, but i know they go to DL in it....
