Turtle Talk relocating?

Sounds good. I would have thought they could keep the fish pillars in place and put the line around it...you know, keep the kiddies entertained and all. The side dispalys could then be moved. O well...

Thanks for the news! Isn't there also to be a bypass hallway around the ride and straight to seabase alpha?

Turtle Talk II is on it's way and it won't use the old space as mentioned. They haven't started building for it yet as it's still in the design phase. That phase however is close to being finished =)

roflol, I was the one that started this rumor 6 months ago when I asked if it was possible to move it too the old theaters. So I guess someones read it and thought it would be a good rumor and is running with it.

What about the second floor of Nemo and Friends that never got redone? What's become of that space?

It, as of last inspection, was the last place to show the old Living Seas logo on the old interactive computers and played the old Living Seas music loop.

You'd think if they'd close down the lower section twice, they'd certainly redo the top section atleast once to make it match the rest of the pavilion.

Maybe this whole closure is just to make the big kelp tube work again? It is where the "Nemo and Friends" sign was put up temporarily before the new ride was finalized and given the greenlight.

They must be pretty confident that Laugh Floor is going to work with its larger audience size. Crush is a fantastic show, and it certainly doesn't have a high enough capacity for the crowd it attracts. Hopefully, the intimate theater is not one reason why it's a fantastic show.

Even more hopefully, "around first quarter '07" means "before the end of Feburary", for purely selfish reasons. ;)
DCA's Turtle Talk is a larger theater by about 50 people and plays just as well as WDW's version does. The biggest problem I had the last time I went was they were allowing adults to sit down in the kids area. Nothing like a big grownups head blocking your 4 year old daughters view.

This sounds good to me. After this happens, hopefully Turtle Talk won't constantly have 30+ minute waits and I will finally take the time to see it

Everything I'm reading so far on this Living Seas changeover sounds extremely positive.

It does! I can't wait to see it completed. Thanks to all who are close by for providing updates so those of us that aren't able to pop over for the afternoon have a clue what's going on! :p
