The darker meat tends to have the most flavor. It gets a bad rap and it shouldn't.

People don't like flavor. Hence all beef hot dogs, all white meat chicken parts, and pork that is now "the other white meat".

I'm with you. Darker meat, organ meat, the face - those are the parts with flavor.

Mmmm.The Turkey Leg. Over one and a half million sold at WDW every year. There also good for you with just over 1000 calories in each one.If you want to stay fit & healthy at Disney,this is the way to go.And yes! They really are Turkey.They are imported in from a turkey farm in Chernobyl hence the size.

On my last trip, one of my travelling party was absolutely REPULSED by the turkey legs and the people eating them. We were over near Frontierland at one of the outdoor tshirt/crapola kiosk when this woman came by gnawing on the dead turkey flesh. The look on my friend's face was once in a lifetime. I kept making her move closer and closer to the woman so I could get a picture of her together with the eater and eatee.

(BTW if anyone is following Hatter's I WISH thread.... this is why I bought the turkey air freshener.... so my friend could always have that wonderful smell and image! Next trip I get her the t-shirt!!)

They look really good and I finally decided to get one a few years ago...first and last time. It might have been just a bad experience but I found it a greasy mess!
