Turkey Leg Quesion

I've decided that, for better or worse, I am going to give one of those big ol' Turkey Legs a try on my next visit, so my question is, is there a better place to get them on property? Which would you recommend?

Also, I remember Whispering Canyon had a dinner that would make Ron Swanson proud - including a turkey leg - not sure if they still offer it though.

I was watching a YouTube of the show Unwrapped when they did a Disney World episode, and you know, they made it look really tasty. Plus, I wanted to try one on my last trip, but didn't get a chance.

Well, it's a rite of passage. Everyone who is anyone has had one at least once. The true test, however, is if they have one ever again. It's a very black and white issue - at least in my household

Should be interesting, as I don't tend to go for the darker meat in a Turkey, which is basically what the leg is made up of.

I love that man.

I will occasionally get one in Tomorrowland. There's lots of secluded seating areas there, and I don't like people watching me eat them :p

One of my least favorite Disney moments: waiting in a (long) line for RnR and having the unique misfortune of watching four Scandinavian teenagers ( packs and all) tagteam a single turkey leg. They were about ten people behind us, so walking through the switchbacks (the EXTENDED switchbacks, no less), we stood beside them every 10 minutes or so. Excruciating.

I'll never be able to remove the sights and those sounds from my memory. I completely get your secluded seating area thing.

I can't imagine a circumstance where I would buy one but I do love watching people eat them. I've always thought if they placed a tourist in a Mickey shirt eating a turkey leg in the pre-historic snowstorm of Space Ship Earth, they would fit in perfectly.
