What about the bar? No love for the golfers?

OK ... does someone want to start a thread about all these 'minor' cutbacks that are happening across property because this is tip of the iceberg stuff and some Spirit told y'all they were coming.

I just would hate if these got buried ... FWIW, Turf Club lunch is one of my favorites at WDW. So, yet again, less reason for me to go, less reason for me to spend ... so, yeah, rubes ... go right ahead, but the lines won't be shorter without me because I don't wait in long lines and you'll have the wonders of the new and improved FP to make your days longer and more miserable.

Pass the Pixie Dust!

Oh, I've also heard the character breakfast at Cape May may be on the chopping block.

And they'd like to not do lunches at Olivia's, but won't close that because TDO suits like dining there.

Rsoxno1 made a thread and seems to be keeping up with cutbacks.

I'd assume that before they close it for dinner as well next year they will try turning it into one of those seedy "cook your own steak" joints first.

Wife-beater attire only, please.

Man that really takes me back, who in their right mind ever thought that was a good idea? I imagine the liability policy had to be astronomical.

I will say in DEFENSE which you know has to be beyond justified for me to say that. We dined there for lunch last week and spent a total of an hour and a half seated and NO ONE else was seated at all. It was so tucked away and back there for a lunch place that most mommy bloggers do not make their way back there. There was a promotion going for certain people to get a discount to hope drum up business; you know what I mean. After seeing the place dead dead dead I can understand this move.

Yeah, we walk by that restaurant all the time when we stay at Saratoga and that place is always dead as a doornail. It IS very out of the way and off the beaten path for most people.

EDIT: That said, I am surprised the golfers don't provide more business in the daytime. You'd think a lot of them would want something a little more upscale than Artist Palette (basically a fancy QSR) and a pool bar.
