Whoever said they don't share facilities doesn't know what they are talking about.

The two resorts have a common area. Common training, horticulture, admin, cafeteria, storage, maintenance, etc. etc. etc.

you beat me to it, I wish people wouldn't write things like they are hard facts unless they trully know what they are saying.

They also share the same general manager as well.

The management team is different except for the General Manager.

The PC cast doesn't park at PC, but at the services buildings as well. So don't blame the low level cast about taking all the parking spots. They don't.

Who's blaming anyone?

I haven't stayed in a lower priced Disney hotel in a while, but I think Pop Century will be a good experience and we might as well try something new!

I've also never stayed at a value resort but for the sake of trying something new I decided to stay there when I go in 39 days. I've been told by my best friend who works at GF (as concierge) that it's worth staying there. I'll have to look for that tunnel and maybe try to sneak into it and take a picture...wll maybe not....but worth a thought.

People that get upset when they can't find a good parking spot blame the cast. I've had people say that all those FL tags are the cast members that work there. Like it's only out of state visitors that stay there.

That's what I'm worried about. People snooping around where they don't belong.

I'm not saying that you'll do it though.

What is a "pargo area"?

"Pargo" is the brand name of the major golf cart maker. Pargos are the little motorized carts (some electric, some gas) that you see staff members running around on in the resorts and parks. :D

...most of the carts are Cushman, or something else. All right, I never counted them, but you know I've only seen a couple of actual "pargos"... though it seems like the entire cast (at least everyone in operating areas) calls them that.

If you really want to sound like a cast member, say "My pargo is 101 so I'm going to take an E.R."

Ok, that was thread drift. We now return you to the famous PC/CB tunnel...

i know the 2 resorts do not share facilities. that would be ridiculous.

The facilities (service buildings) are most definitely shared. Each resort has its own staff of house keepers but other staff like mantenance and management are for both resorts.
