These lyrics came to mind when I thought about my trip reporting. (I also thought, Here we go AGAIN but the above sounds much more poignant.) It’s now that time of year when my Disney trips are frequent. And this Disney Senior loves sharing her visits with y’all because your engagement makes it fun!

Yes, there will be stuff that’s the same. Yes, there will be surprises (too soon for the reveals). And yes, there will be sun rises!

Spring break countdown is at 4 days.

Practically Perfect In Every Way

This can't be spring break. That thought went through our minds over and over last week. Walkways with ample room to move? Attractions that were walk-ons? Quick service restaurants with available tables? Short waits for transportation? Front row Easter egg viewing?

Was it a dream?

While not a literal dream, it was a dream come true. To give unfamiliar readers background, past trip report titles from our spring break visits have included: Go With The Flow....It's Spring Break, You Know! I Will Survive....Spring Break and my personal favorite I Vowed Never Again ~ Yet Here We Are! which pretty much sums up the majority of our spring break trips.

Then why do you go during that time? you may be asking. Em is an educator. Her PTO must align with the school calendar. By this point during the school year, she needs her Happy Place. She also needs a travel buddy, whom I am privileged to be.

Traditionally, Georgia spring break has been the first week of April. Do you know how often Easter week is also the first week of April? It happens a lot. Every year we must contend with either BIG crowds or MEGA crowds.

So why was this year different?

Em's district moved spring break to the second week of April. And Easter is late this year - April 20th.

It was the perfect storm - in a good way!

I'm excited to share our Mary Poppins vacation with y'all.
