Trip Report Tu in ‘25

Ever just the same
Ever a surprise
Ever as before

These lyrics came to mind when I thought about my trip reporting. (I also thought, Here we go AGAIN but the above sounds much more poignant.) It’s now that time of year when my Disney trips are frequent. And this Disney Senior loves sharing her visits with y’all because your engagement makes it fun!

Yes, there will be stuff that’s the same. Yes, there will be surprises (too soon for the reveals). And yes, there will be sun rises!

Spring break countdown is at 4 days.

Sunday, con’t

As has become our tradition (according to Em) our first stop was Roaring Fork for a chocolate chip muffin. We people-watched as we enjoyed our snack and waited for our room ready notification.

We waited and waited. No text. So we went off to have some fun for a couple hours.

When I finally saw our room number, I chuckled. I was 99% sure it was the same room Em and I stayed in last June.

Upon entering the room, I noticed the bathroom and bed were on the opposite side from what I remembered.

But the view was exactly the same.

Once outside on the balcony it became clear that we were next door to last summer’s room.

A positive to this lower floor location? The bats won’t be an issue, @MissingDisney!

Tired from our travel day, we relaxed on our balcony until dark.

I promised sunrise pics. This is the best I could do from our balcony, and the photo does not do the soft glow justice.

Also not as pronounced as in real life are the half dozen TALL, BRIGHT work lights across the lake from the construction of the Ft. Wilderness tower.

Don’t even get me started….😡
