Trip Report Tu in ‘25

Ever just the same
Ever a surprise

These lyrics came to mind when I thought about my trip reporting. (I also thought, Here we go AGAIN but the above sounds much more poignant.) It’s now that time of year when my Disney trips are frequent. And this Disney Senior loves sharing her visits with y’all because your engagement makes it fun!

Yes, there will be stuff that’s the same. Yes, there will be surprises (too soon for the reveals). And yes, there will be sun rises!

Spring break countdown is at 4 days.

The dark clouds were arriving quickly as we made our way outside the pool gate and onto the walkway along the beach.

Woody helped me figure out where our room was from outside. It’s the third balcony down from the top next to the viewing area.

That has to be the BEST view I've ever seen from a room at WDW!!! I don't think I would have wanted to leave that balcony during my stay especially as day turned into night!

Oh we got our money’s worth from that balcony!

It looks like a beautiful pool area. It's too bad that the thunder chased you away so soon.

The Cove pool is a blend of the Lava and Oasis pools. It has the beach/castle view of the Lava pool, without the chaos of a slide and pool games like the Oasis quiet pool. Of the three pools, Cove would be my #1 choice.

Honestly, I was delighted to have had any time at the pool since summer afternoons in WDW are a crapshoot in terms of thunderstorms!

I had to shake my head over the avocado wrap! It is kind of hard to miss the main ingredient!

SERIOUSLY??!! Is this a problem? Woody said it must be, otherwise there would be no need for the sign.

In regard to the sign…
Pretty sure it’s in reference to the lounge shelf (we called it a “beach” when I was in architecture - retired last year).
In residential pools, people tend to move pool furniture to the beach, or already have designated furniture for it, which I’m sure you’ve seen before.
Not sure if there’s any kinda’ liability involved, but they’re probably concerned that if the furniture makes it to the beach the next step may be in the middle of the pool…!!!!!
