It's a fence in a parking lot.

i hope its temporary for the permanent solution. its the same stuff construction sites use. point is a multi billion dollar conpany that invented thematic emersion can do better....even in a parking lot.

i believe a light theme can be present in the parking lot. look at the toll boothes for example and even resort wide signage is a little theming. i know its nothing big but why settle for less than perfect. when i do my daily job thats my goal.

Are we coming up on one of WDW's famous foot race/marathons? Or maybe they are repairing something and don't want people to have to see the debris. Disney tends to be a big fan of construction fences.

these are drilled into the concrete (the posts) so some what permanent so i wouldn't guess a race i bet the latter however.

I thought they were clearly moveable temporary fencing. If they are anchored to the asphalt then they should be there awhile, but I still think they're for temporary work (probably just precautionary for storms).

i agree but yes 100% sure they are drilled. i could see all the core holes before they began erecting. aka these fences dont have the feet like regular temporary fences.

Sometimes a fence is just a fence.

Exactly. It serves the purpose of keeping guests out or blocks their view of a a debris filled area. OP, I wouldnt get upset about it not being pretty or having it themed. There are plenty of spaces around the immediate perimeter of the parks and inside the parks that I think really should receive more theming. With the animators talents, I would like to see more Disney characters images around property. Think of all those dull, bare walls that could be transformed into colorful character scenes.

I agree. I think a more immersive fence would be what, concrete highway dividers?
