TTA Spiel.....Old or New?

Like Lee said, the 95 spiel fitted the 95 land. With most of that gone it just didn't work anymore.

I still liked it though.

Even if the worst happened and Tomorrowland completely morphed into a clone of Pixar Place, the old version would still be far preferrable to the new one. :lol:

Seriously, the old version was WAY WAY WAY WAY better than the "disney channel voice" version now. I seriously got very upset when I found that they were changing it.

I still watch/listen to the old on on Youtube all the time. I just wish they had kept in SOME of the old stuff - while still updating the info. It would have been very easy to just integrate the updated info but keeping the sweet puns and NOW APPROACHING...(which was totally my fav)

Definitely the old. The new one would have been so much better if they had kept the jokes and used a non-Peter Pan sounding narrator!

i actually have to admit I love the new version more than the old. It souns more exciting and inviting and gives a good update to the new things like the laugh floor.

The new narration is an unmitigated atrocity. It's so uninspired, uninteresting, annoying, lame, weak, wimpy, and commercialized with dull descriptions of the attractions and shameless plugs for the gift shops, that I absolutely refuse to allow my family to buy souvenirs at Magic Kingdom. I'm serious. They took something delightful, whimsical, fun, and well executed, and transformed it into pure junk.

No more MK souvenirs for us, and I would urge everyone within eyeshot of this thread to do the same. Let your outrage be known loud enough so that every gift shop manager and Mr. Wimpyvoice narrator himself will hear it.

Change it back. It's a recording for crying it out loud. It's not like you have to tear out concrete to bring back the greatness of the original. And fire the moron who decided to replace it in the first place.

Another vote for the previous 90s version.

Does anyone know when they removed the "whether your a Humanoid, Robot or Alien Passenger" section? I can't remember when it was cut.

I like that they tried to go back to the way it was in the 80's but its just kind of bland. I miss the 90's version it had more personality, its something that happens with alot of stuff nowadays.

The old one for all the already stated reasons. Disney needs to remember they are in the business of creating magic. For some reason this notion seems to be slipping away from their grasp.
