Any indication the elevator is being painted red like the Starjets era???

Exterior is green as of 7/12

Those windows look into the space where the spinning light effect is before the Speedroom on Buzz.

Originally they looked into a scene in If You Had Wings that was located there. When the attraction was redone to Dreamflight and the "jet engine" lighting effect was the only thing there, they covered over those windows.

Edit:
According to this blueprint, it was the New Orleans scene that those windows looked down into:

And the windows that look into Buzz now, plus the ones where the hairdresser scene are now, looked down into the Caribbean/Puerto Rico area.

You'd think they would at least use one window as a digital screen Door for Mike Wazowski and a bunch of Prop doors for decor to inform them about the Laugh floor. It always seems quiet after Buzz lightyear is mentioning his attraction in the tunnel..

The red with the white and blue is a bit too patriotic to me. I'll reserve judgement until we see what they do with the rest.

Well..something's going on at the top of the elevator...Here's a cropped pic of mine from the other side taken early October. Look at the top portion and compare it...

Yes, the railings at the top of the elevator are now a red/orange color. Apparently, the rest of the elevator structure will be that color once they are done. I'm not sure I would like to see a Tomorrowland in all orange and red. It just screams 70s/80s. Didn't the Tomorrowland Terrace / Plaza Pavilion have this color scheme once?

Blue and Silver will always in my mind be classic and define tech and the future. I guess we will see how it looks.

The elevator cage used to be red before the 90's redo...
