TTA Refurb?

At Disneyland they removed the TTA entirely ... has anyone considered that disturbing possibility?

The TTA is very different from the people mover at Disneyland, and this one gets more traffic than that one ever did.

Now, those tracks lay defunct at DL and look ridiculous. They couldn't make that mistake again.

And I think the uproar would be loudar than anything most people have seen before.:animwink:

Thats only because they had a ride to replace it. After the ride proved to not work correctly, it was scrapped.

Since they won't try the same thing here, the TTA wouldn't be going away.

Plus it fits the whole back story of the WDW TL. Which will hopefully be better emphasized as these new changes take place. It works well IMO. Real well!

Well, they didn't remove it "entirely." The track and everything is still there. Remember that what led to the demise of Disneyland's Peoplemover (as it was then known) was the conversion to the Rocket Rods. That ride was prone to breakdown and they closed it. They didn't want to sink more money into fixing it but it would have been silly to spend more money to bring the old Peoplemover back, with the spinning Goodyear tires on the track and so on. My point is, if they hadn't built the Rods it's likely the Peoplemover would still be running there.

Update: man, I thought I had read all the posts before mine--everything above is redundant now. Move along, nothing to see here...
