TSMM lines.

I haven't been to WDW in two years. I'm heading back Dec. 13-18 (Thank God). Are the lines at TSMM as bad as they were two years ago?

My most recent trips have been twice in 2011 and once in 2013, and I have yet to ride TSMM. I just always end up going to HS for the night because I want to see Fantasmic, but not too much else, and every time I've gone since its been open, the stand by has been insane and the fastpasses have been gone for the day.

You gotta go to DHS in the morning and make TSMM fastpass the very first thing you do. That's what we did and it worked out fine for us. Mind you, we haven't used the FP+ thing so I don't know how tha works with this :/

Was there in June and lines were crazy. One day it was almost at 3 hours. You have to get TSMM Fastpasses right away or you'll never be able to ride it. But I do not know how this crazy FP+ thing works.o_O

It seems like the lines are always absolutely insane for TSMM. The last time I was at DHS, the standby line had a wait that was over 2 hours long. Needless to say, we didn't end up riding it - personally, I don't think any ride/ attraction is worth spending more than an hour of my day in line for.

It's interesting that TSMM in Anaheim usually never seems to have more than a 30-45 minute wait, while the one in Orlando undoubtedly is the hottest attraction in the park. The same thing with Soarin'.

You have to get a FP at opening. We handed our tickets to the scardy cats to get Fastpasses while the rest of us rode ToT and RnRC. That worked out pretty well for us.

Always a long line. I don't think I've ever waited less than 90 minutes. First time we ever rode it was 2 hours and I'm sure we waited 90 minutes last March too.

If you are going to do it without fast pass, be there for rope drop, and head straight there. We have often been able to ride it twice with very minimal wait.

Maybe I'm getting older but why is this ride so hot? Is it our video game culture and the need to ride over and over to get a better score? I've ridden twice and by the time the ride was over my hands were in pain from pulling down that string to shoot at targets.

I think it's the interactivity appeal. The onscreen visuals react to how you shoot, like say if you accidentally nail Woody with a paint balloon. It combines ride, arcade, and 4-D show effects into one package, the likes of which are nowhere else in the park yet. My mom is in her 50s, and even she loves it.

Its popular because there are only basically only 4 rides there and if you dont eant want to taste what you just ate, it is the only sort of attraction there:)

We rode it last week at park close and waited 35 minutes (posted time was 50). :) And no fastpasses! Try going as close to park close as possible or during a viewing of Fantasmic.
