Not sure where to post this, but here we go. Was just next in line at TSM and it shut down. Control panel said auto cycle out (ACO) and they eventually asked us to leave and they evacuated the ride. One staff said "live spill". Any ideas on what ACO or live spill means?

Exactly what your title says, as well as the illuminated window on the control panel which you saw.

Auto cycle out will basically advance all the vehicles to unload without show interaction as quickly as possible.

Cool, thx! So I guess the only mystery now is what would happen to shut the ride down conpletely two hours before park closing.

I don't know what kind of mechanics are within the TSMM vehicles, but if there are any kind of hydraulics, a hydraulic leak onto the track could shut down the attraction until it could be cleaned up. I know that's the case on the EMV attractions (Dinosaur and Indy). And a fluid leak like that isn't as quick to mop up as a Code V...

There are also water effects in the attraction. If there was some kind of stuck valve on those, constantly spraying, that could be a problem...

Actually the CM most likely said "Live Spiel" and not "Live spill". All attractions have and automatic spiel for normal and emergency operation. If the system is not working correctly, CMs must use the PA system and do the spiel instead of the computer .. thus a "live" instead of "automatic" spiel.

Auto cycle outs are triggered by the attraction's computer system. They basically are triggered when the computer detects something that is out of the oridinary and typically not resetable. Not sure how it works with TSMM, but that's typcally what happens at Splash.
