With 14 days, I'd say go for AKL and the TS plan. You can't go wrong with Boma, Sanaa, Jiko and the Mara there. In my book, AKL has the best resort food in WDW. (Which is why it tops my bucket list!) If it's really your last trip, go out with a bang is what I say. 28 QS credits is a lot and if all three meals is must, that's potentially 42 QS meals in 14 days. So it's either 28 prepaid QS meals with the likeliness of 14 OOP meals in any combination of TS and/or QS. Or 14 prepaid TS credits and 14 QS meals with presumably 14 OOP meals again with any combination of TS and/or QS places. I think for sole purpose of variety, the TS plan works out better. You shouldn't waste away a 14 day magical trip to WDW eating mostly burgers, hot dogs and fries. I think you'll go crazy, I know I would!

No decision there Hatter, AK is such a lovely resort, good restaurants and such a beautiful setting. Remember you can use a TS for breakfast and free up the rest of the day. The day we did that this year we had an ADR for Crystal Palace breakfast, ice cream cookie sandwich for lunch (snack) and later we paid a visit to POR for make your own pasta, fab.

OK Hatter...I'm not the best one to ask as I will often tell people to splurge. But seriously, if this really is your last trip to WDW...go DELUXE! :D

AKL is very nice and I'd take a trip full of TS meals if it were to be my last. I might even consider a split stay...i.e. Epcot area for part of it? I thought you were interested in going in the fall...so being walking distance to the IG for at least part of your stay would be so ideal. So, maybe half Beach Club/half AKL? Just a thought.

Cheers..I would love to do 7 nights at PORS and 7 nights at AKL, but Unfortunatly it doesn't work due to our 14 day park ticket and free DDP...
